The washing ball is FANTASTIC!! Iâ??ve got a couple blouses (mixed rayon/polyester) that have small blood stains on themâ??for a long time--& NOTHING takes out the stainsâ??Iâ??ve tried everything!! The washing ball didnâ??t completely take out the stains, but about half the stains are gone & I think, if I wash these blouses a few more times with the ball, all the stains will be gone. Iâ??ve got other items I washed because they were looking â??greyâ? or faded &, again, unless I used tons of bleach (which I donâ??t like to doâ??it weakens the fabric), they probably wouldnâ??t lose that grey/old color, but the ball removed most of the grey. I think, again, with several more washings, theyâ??ll look almost new (wonâ??t look newâ??theyâ??re not new!). The only thing the ball wonâ??t do is restore & refurbish fabric thatâ??s been worn by use. I have a favorite jeans dress that I wear when I clean or do yard work because itâ??s â??jeansâ? & thatâ??s a strong fabricâ??holds up well. Itâ??s got several worn spots & many stains from this work. The ball removed most of the long-term stains & brightened-up the fabric, but it didnâ??t replace the worn fabricâ??of course!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Additionally, I washed everything togetherâ??didnâ??t separate light colors from dark colors or rayons from other fabrics. No fabrics bled onto other fabrics during the wash. Everything came out smelling â??fresh.â? But the best thing about the washing ball is all the clothes I washed had all the chemicals from previous washings removed. You could tell by the feel of the clothes that the soap chemical residue or the residue from cold water/wool wash liquids was removed by the ball. I think itâ??ll take several more washes before all the chemicals are completely removed from my clothes. But this is FABULOUS!
